Museum Book Club

The Museum’s Book Club will examine six popular racing titles in a bi-monthly program beginning in February 2024 on site at the Museum. The Book Club will meet on the second Thursday of every other month beginning Feb. 8 at 3 p.m. Meetings will include a guided discussion and a special guest for each book. Books are available for purchase individually through the Museum gift shop or a special bundle rate of $125 for all six books. Cost to participate in the Book Club is $30 for Museum members and $60 for non-members. The cost includes access to all six programs and refreshments at each event. The book club schedule is as follows:
Thursday, Feb. 8 — The First Kentucky Derby, by Mark Shrager
Thursday, April 11 — Lexington, by Kim Wickens
Thursday, June 13 — Ruffian, by Jane Schwartz
Thursday, Aug. 8 — Bare Knuckles and Saratoga Racing, by Brien Bouyea
Thursday, Oct. 10 — The Foxes of Belair, Jennifer Kelly
Thursday, Dec. 12 — Horse Crazy, by Sarah Maslin Nir
