Angel Cordero, Jr. Hall of Fame Tour

Join legendary Hall of Fame jockey Angel Cordero, Jr. on a unique and private guided tour through the Museum and through his storied career as one of the greatest riders of all time. The three-time Kentucky Derby winner and "King of Saratoga," Cordero was one of the 20th century's leading jockeys and the first native of Puerto Rico to be inducted to the Hall of Fame. Now, in this one-of-a-kind tour, you'll have the chance to spend an afternoon with one of thoroughbred racing's most influential figures, and one of the greatest jockeys of all time. These tours are only offered during select days in the summer, and tickets will go fast. Information on 2025 tour dates will be available soon!

2025 Saratoga County Farm Tours

Join the National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame as we visit farms throughout Saratoga County. Guests will enjoy a unique 90-minute tour through a different farm every month from April through October, where a knowledgeable guide will give you a behind-the-scenes look at how these farms operate. Then, we'll give you the chance to meet with some of racing's most popular horses, getting up close and personal. Finally, at the close of the tour, guests will have the opportunity to ask their guide any questions they may have about the care and keeping of these beautiful animals. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended on this tour. Information on 2025 tours will be coming soon. 

NOTE: Tour includes complimentary admission to the National Musuem of Racing and Hall of Fame.

Tom Durkin Exclusive Museum Tour

Join legendary racecaller Tom Durkin for a unique and entertaining tour experience of the National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame! These special tours last one hour and include a showing of the Museum's new signature film, What It Takes: Journey to the Hall of Fame. These tours are offered only during the Saratoga Race Course meeting. Information on the 2025 tour dates will be available in the spring. 

 

Oklahoma Training Track Exclusive Tour

  • NOTE: Oklahoma Training Track tour attendees receive a coupon for $5 off regular admission to the Museum.

Find out why this beautiful and historic site, located across the street from Saratoga Race Course, is a favorite base for leading trainers such as Steve Asmussen, Todd Pletcher, Chad Brown, Bill Mott, Shug McGaughey, Nick Zito, D. Wayne Lukas, and many others. Our behind-the-scenes tours, offered in cooperation with the New York Racing Association, are available from May through October. This walking tour covers approximately 1.5 miles and lasts for 90 minutes.

Sturdy walking shoes are suggested! 

Tour participants must be at least 10 years old. No children in backpacks or strollers, no umbrellas.

Oklahoma Tours are by reservation only, May through October. The tour begins promptly at 9 a.m. and leaves from the Museum. You will meet your tour guide and check in at the front desk in the Museum lobby. Reservations are required and space is limited! All reservations must be received 48 hours prior to requested time. (Make sure you leave a phone number where you can be reached from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. You will be contacted if the tour is cancelled due to weather)
